Our Origins

Founding Toronto Heritage Dance:

Toronto Heritage Dance was founded by Patricia Beatty and Nenagh Leigh in 2002 to raise awareness of our Canadian modern dance tradition and to foster the continuity and development of our art form.

Our activities focus on performance of our Canadian heritage dance works created over several recent decades and on creation of new dance works by our iconic and pioneering dancer/choreographers.
